Run for Charity
"মানুষ মানুষের জন্যে, জীবন জীবনের জন্যে..."
(Man is for man, Life is for life...)
Just like the words of Bhupen Hazarika’s iconic song, we too aim for our celebration to become a reason for the smiles of those less fortunate in society. And for this very purpose, we have introduced the Charity Entry option for our event. Coastal Ultra 2025 is more than just a race - it’s a chance to make a lasting impact. Whether you’re running for a personal cause or simply want to help those in need, participating as a charity runner can be an incredibly rewarding experience.
What is Charity Entry?
Charity Entry refers to a special type of registration in events (like races, marathons, or challenges) where participants contribute a certain amount of money to support a charitable cause. These are charity entries, giving you a chance to run and fundraise, especially if you missed out on the regular entry. On the flip side, if you’ve already secured a regular spot, you can still choose to fundraise for a charity and all your donations will go directly to supporting the cause without any costs for the entry. The main idea behind charity entries is to provide an opportunity for people to participate in an event while also raising funds for a good cause. For the Coastal Ultra 2025, the Charity Entries category allows participants to contribute to a noble cause while also taking part in the event.
Charity Entry Details for Coastal Ultra 2025
As you might already know, our two charity partners – Pawmang and Half Mad Human – work primarily with underprivileged children. All proceeds raised from the Charity Slot will be equally distributed between these two organizations. This means your participation in the charity event will help light the path for a group of children, bringing them hope for a better future.
Get ready to embark on a noble journey and make a difference in the lives of children who need your support. Let’s run for a cause!

PAWMANG: A School Bringing Education to the Hills of Bandarban
In the green hills of Champajhiri Para in Lama, Bandarban, Pawmang Primary School is a place of hope and learning for the local children. Started on February 26, 2011, by a group of people who love the mountains, Pawmang means "flower garden." This name fits well because the school is like a garden where children from different backgrounds come together to learn and grow. Pawmang is more than just a school. It is a home for 120 children from grades one to six. These children come from different communities like Mro, Murang, Marma, Khasi, Chakma, and Bengali. The school helps them learn and grow, just like flowers in a garden. To help children who live far away in the mountains, Pawmang has a hostel where they can stay. This hostel is not a big building but a simple bamboo house on the hill. Here, the children get food and a place to sleep, making their lives a little easier.
Life in the mountains is tough. Many parents cannot afford basic things like education, food, clothes, and medical care for their children. But thanks to the kind help of many generous people, Pawmang can keep going, even though it doesn’t always have enough resources.
Pawmang is one of the charity partner of Coastal Ultra 2025, the longest ultra marathon of Bangladesh. This partnership shows Coastal Ultra Bangladesh's dedication to helping children learn and have a better future.
As Pawmang continues its work, it dreams of spreading education to more children in the mountains. With every new day, more children will join this special flower garden, bringing hope and a brighter future for all.

There is no profound history behind the quirky name HALF MAD HUMAN, yet its mission resonates deeply with humanitarian values. The members of this voluntary organization proudly describe themselves as "half-mad," driven by the belief that to be truly human, one must embrace a bit of madness. They see this as a reflection of their dreams of becoming "fully human."
Founded by a group of passionate travelers, HALF MAD HUMAN has embarked on a journey of change, focusing on education and support for marginalized communities. Their initiatives include providing education for dozens of neglected, blind children, and establishing several libraries in rural villages. The organization also actively supports the education of girls and the medical treatment of impoverished children.
In line with their vision of creating a compassionate society, HALF MAD HUMAN is working towards the establishment of an Anand Ashram, a sanctuary for the elderly. This ambitious project reflects their belief that small efforts can lead to significant societal changes. They believe that even small efforts can make a big difference. Their mission is to encourage people to contribute and help make the world better.
HALF MAD HUMAN is one of the two charity partners for the upcoming Coastal Ultra 2025, the longest ultra run of Bangladesh, scheduled to take place from 20-22 February 2025 at Marine Drive, Cox's Bazar. This partnership aligns perfectly with Coastal Ultra Bangladesh's commitment to community support and uplifting marginalized people in society.
